What is the financial freedom mindset?
"Time is really the only capital that any human being has, and the only thing he can't afford to lose." — Thomas Edison.
You work for your money. You are punctual, work overtime and exert effort every single day.
Yet, you seem to be stuck and getting nowhere.
Are you getting tired of the daily grind?
Is it frustrating?
Are you anxiously waiting for your next paycheck? Is your retirement account minimal (or worse, doesn't exist)? Do you sacrifice so much of your time to make a living? Do you impatiently wait for the weekend, then dread Monday mornings? Do you feel like you're in a vicious cycle of struggle every day?
How did it come to this?
Is there a better way?
"Financial freedom is freedom from fear." — Robert Kiyosaki.
Working at a traditional 9-5 well-paying job is good enough for some people. However, some of us want to do what we want, when we want, and how we want —and live well.
We want something better.
We know that we're more than just a paycheck.
We're willing to create our financial freedom.
How do we do that?
Let's look at the financial freedom mindset.
"You must tell your money how you want to live your life, not the other way round." — Manoj Arora.
Ask yourself, what is financial freedom for me? What lifestyle do I want to achieve? Will I do the work that allows me to achieve that life?
You're putting yourself ahead of the pack when you understand what you want to do with your life and the money you need to accomplish that. You don't need to make millions to be financially free, although you can if you want to.
Financial freedom gives you the power to make decisions based on your happiness and satisfaction. Everyone has different visions of fulfillment and life goals. You can make the most of your life once you've achieved financial freedom.
"Because he is sure that his thoughts can change his life, his life begins to change." — Paulo Coelho.
Some people may have an edge or a favorable position compared to you, but you can still achieve financial freedom no matter where you are in life now. It may not happen overnight, but by embracing where you are financially and taking on a warrior-like mindset, you can overcome challenges.
Warrior-like mindset? It is about overcoming adversity. It's about starting. It's about taking steps. It's more than aggressiveness and determination and not about making excuses, knowing that you have the power to crush any obstacle and change your outcome.
"Being rich is having money; being wealthy is having time." — Margaret Bonnano.
Does it matter how much money you make per hour? You aren't making money if you aren't working.
No. You can have a scalable income source independent of the number of hours you clock in daily.
Do you want to break away from trading time for money? You can create cash-flowing passive income streams that pay you while you sleep.
"Good things take time, as they should. We shouldn't expect good things to happen overnight. Actually, getting something too easily or too soon can cheapen the outcome." — John Wooden.
You must focus on the long term —it takes time to build high-level wealth.
You may not get paid right away, but delayed gratification will be rewarding. To create a robust passive income down the road, you have to work now and know that you may have to wait.
"Life isn't about getting and having. It's about giving and being." — Kevin Kruse.
There's enough wealth to go around for everyone to enjoy financial freedom in their lives. There's no hidden information, belittling or screwing others at the expense of prosperity.
The true meaning of financial freedom is creating wealth to enhance the lives of others beyond that of your family and friends, build communities of goodwill, and spread knowledge to help others create success.
"You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love." — Jim Carrey.
It takes a lot of courage to meander away from the safe route of consistency —a paycheck. But, remember that there is a community of like-minded people encouraging you to continue on your journey of creating financial freedom for yourself. So, set yourself apart and break the mold.
It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
You're betting on yourself.
